However, due to the nature of paving materials, slight variations in size, depth, and colour may occur. Please note that variations in paving dimensions, including size and depth, may be up to 10mm and are considered within the standard tolerance for these products.
4.2 For large-format porcelain tiles, a slight bow or curvature is within industry-standard tolerance and may be present in individual tiles due to the manufacturing process. We recommend consulting with a professional installer to ensure proper handling and installation of large-format tiles, as this can mitigate the effect of any natural bowing. We find that installing using a stack bond method is best.
4.3 All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible.
5. Orders
5.1 By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
5.2 After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This does not confirm acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the goods, and we will confirm this via email.
5.3 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, inaccessible deliveries or where we believe a breach of these Terms has occurred.
6. Pricing and Payment

7. Delivery
7.1 We deliver within the UK using a third-party courier. Deliveries are made using a pump truck, not a crane, forklift truck (FLT), or HIAB service. The delivery is kerbside only and will be made to the nearest accessible location on hard, suitable ground, such as concrete or tarmac.
7.2 Delivery cannot be made on soft or unstable surfaces such as grass, gravel, loose MOT, or any other unsuitable surfaces. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that an appropriate delivery area is available.
7.3 Delivery times and costs vary depending on the order and your location.
7.4 We strive to meet estimated delivery times but cannot guarantee them due to potential delays beyond our control. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the paving materials have arrived before booking any labourers, installers, or other services.
7.5 Once an order has been dispatched, Howard Paving Stones will not be held responsible for any delays in delivery. We advise that all installations and labour arrangements be made only after the goods have been received.
7.6 We will not be liable for "loss of earnings”, or any other related costs incurred by the buyer or third parties due to delays in delivery, regardless of the cause.
7.7 If delivery is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you and aim to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 For details on returns, please refer to our Returns Policy. Customers may return items within 14 days if they are unused and in original packaging.
8.2 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned goods have been inspected and approved.
8.3 Custom-made, special-order, or discounted products are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
9. Damaged or Faulty Goods
9.1 If you receive damaged or faulty goods, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange for the return or replacement of these items as appropriate.
9.2 If a product develops a fault after use, please contact our customer service team to assess whether a repair or replacement is appropriate under UK consumer law.
9.3 Signing for a delivery as "unchecked," "not checked," or similar will still be deemed as acceptance of the delivery.
